Our Mission
To assist in the growth of Nepal through inviting
International / National volunteers and encourage them to contribute
to the rural community development, education development, Woman's
Empowerment, health and environmental activities of the Nepali
people. In this way they will be making a meaningful contribution to
a disadvantaged segment of the world community, while participating
in an exchange of ideas and viewpoints with the local people who
will ultimately be responsible for sustainable development.
Our Program
Our program offers a unique
opportunity for interested individuals, couples, groups and
organizations to make a contribution to Nepali society, while
simultaneously experiencing the rich culture and difference aspect
of urban and rural life in Nepal, one of the most beautiful
countries of the world. The degree to which volunteers contribute to
Nepali communities varies according to motivation and personal
capacity; however, no experience is necessary and we strongly
encourage all applicants.

Program Schedule
The volunteer program starts throughout the year. You can
volunteer anywhere from 2 weeks to 5 months. For Teaching English program,
please take note that the school may be closed during festivals period
I.e., last week of September and October, due to the number of festivals
interrupting the school schedule. This is dictated by the lunar calendar.
Therefore we are arranging an alternative placement for this time in
another program.
Program Location
The
placements are available in Kathmandu Valley and Pokhara. The locations of
the program and placements can vary with regards to a number of issues.
Placements are determined before 1 month and considerations of safety of
volunteers and availability. We will advise program details i.e., name of
the organization/host family, location etc. after receiving your
confirmation. . Project Skills Required: Volunteers need to be
independent, enthusiastic and adaptable. Whatever your previous background
and qualifications may be, with the positive outlook you bring with you,
your other attributes can be put to good use. We also provide help for
organizing trekking, rafting and jungle safaris. We will recommend local
guides from our different placements to ensure they are given the
opportunity to earn money and you'll be given value for money. By drawing
on local knowledge, your experience will be all the more
rewarding.
