Volunteer Program

Social Development and Voluntary Service Nepal (SDVS NEPAL) is founded by dedicated, experienced local Nepali people who worked in different NGO’s, INGO’s and GO’s with the objective of social upliftment, economically deprived and downtrodden segment of the society. We are certify by Government under the license number 744/059/60 and affiliated with Social Welfare Council license number 14773 (SWC) and has been awarded certificate as a Charity Organization. We believe very strongly that “Sustainable poverty alleviation and empowerment needs to come from within a community”.

Our aim is to provide quality service and placement to the volunteers in a different field as per his/her own interest of programs under a same roof. We take this opportunity to invite the individuals/groups who are willing to work as a volunteer and above all explore Nepal, the highest land of the world (Mt. Everest) and of course one of the most beautiful place on the earth. The nation deserves to have the pride of having unique and indeed very rich Eastern cultural and historical background. One may be fortunate to have the opportunity to be welcomed by very innocent people, whose mind still remains unstained, noble, pure and experience of total satisfaction to receive warm hospitality, cordiality and friendliness.
Volunteers may stay upto 5 months, no skills needed for the program of Orphan, Jail Kids, Teaching, Disable and Cultural Exchange/Home stay program. For the Health, Deaf, Women's empowerment and Chitwan National Park, we request you to kindly visit the site and send us the documents or information that you need to provide us.

We welcome all the participants who wish to serve as a volunteer to get true Nepalese culture and tradition.

We look forward to welcome you in the Land of Mount Everest.
Your sincerely,

Dinesh Chettri
SDVS Nepal.
